What was the problem?


In the challenging economy of 2007, to maximize sales our Wild Planet client needed to find a way to extend placement of their Spy Gear toy line into two distinct areas of retail outlets – the toy aisle and the impulse aisle The only hitch was that the products were relatively high-priced making them unlikely impulse purchases. 


What was our inventive solution?


We created and developed a new product line that we named Micro Spy Gear. This new line consisted of multiple SKUs that retained the intrigue and equity of the Spy Gear brand, but at a much lower price point that made it a no brainer for impulse purchases.


Did it work?

The Micro Spy Gear line is still thriving and can be found in both the toy and impulse purchase aisles to this day.
